This 1000 foot red 16/2 fire alarm / security cable comes in an easy to use pull box. The cable is composed of 2 16 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wires in a twisted configuration inside of a FPLR rated outer jacket. The primary use of this cable is for power limited fire circuits, but it also finds use in the wiring of security systems. (Often one finds the two systems are closely tied together.)
